Terms of Service

Last updated 12 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Clawd Calendar macOS application and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. They are deliberately short, because the app is small and free.

What you are getting

Clawd Calendar is a free macOS application that displays reminders for meetings in your Google Calendar. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on Macs you control. The software is released under the MIT licence, and that licence governs the software itself.

Your Google account

The app works only if you connect a Google account and grant the permissions it requests. You are responsible for having the right to use that account. You can withdraw the permission at any time, from the app's Sign out menu item or from your Google account permissions page. How your data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Updates

The app checks this website for new versions and can install them. Updates are cryptographically signed and verified before installation. You can decline to update by not using the update option, though older versions may stop working if Google changes its API.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It is a reminder tool, not a guarantee. Software, operating systems, networks and calendar APIs all fail sometimes, and you should not rely on it as the only thing standing between you and a missed meeting.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a meeting you missed, a reminder that did not appear, or an RSVP that failed to send. The app is free, and total liability is limited accordingly.

Changes and termination

These terms may be updated, with the revised version posted here and a new date at the top. You may stop using the app at any time by signing out and deleting it. Distribution of the app may be discontinued at any time; copies already installed will keep working for as long as Google's API allows.

No affiliation with Google

Clawd Calendar is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google, Google Calendar and Google Meet are trademarks of Google LLC.
